French roll

The "GDR roll" is made from 100% wheat flour. Handcrafted and baked directly on stone slabs, it's slightly more compact than the "regular" double roll. Its mild flavor makes it perfect with all toppings, from sweet to savory, or as a side dish to soups and stews.

Note : Since freshness is so important for rolls, we bake them fresh every day in our bakery on Hegelstrasse. Since packages can take several days to arrive, rolls are NOT suitable for shipping! You can purchase them directly in our stores.
