This Stollen impresses with a moist poppy seed filling, lovingly worked into the Stollen dough, and is rounded off with crispy crumbles and plenty of butter. Our poppy seed filling is traditionally made with freshly crushed poppy seeds, which creates its intense flavor. The oblong poppy seed plait, also known as the Schlesinger Mohnlänge (Mohnlänge), is intended for immediate consumption due to its moist filling. If stored consistently in a cool place (maximum 10°C), it will last up to three weeks. However, since we have no control over storage outside of our premises, the best-before date is 14 days from the date of production. We strongly recommend keeping the Stollen refrigerated until ready to eat.
